BlindGadget explores the world of access technology. This includes any electronic gadget or device or software tool that makes life easier or more fun. The main focus is on gadgets of interest to blind and visually impaired consumers. We cover accessible media such as recorded books and Braille publications, specialized devices such as notetakers and refreshable Braille displays, reading systems including magnifiers and optical recognition, and just about any other techie gadget that grabs our attention.
We are a pair of Computer Science graduate students and general gadget junkies with liberal arts degrees and a lot of business experience.
